Hello! I'm Nura! also known as Merlot Songbird. Though I'm mostly known as 'Song' to my friends.I am a 23 year-old online Artist and an aspiring Comic Artist (I'm working on it)
I am from the beautiful country of Aotearoa (New Zealand).I first started drawing when I was around 11 years old, and just never stopped learning from there, Drawing dragons even then.
I first drew with paper and pencil, before moving to a mouse and then finally to a tablet!Not a lot more to me outside of that I'm afraid but I'm glad you enjoy my art enough to want to learn more about me!

- References of Characters (Unless it's a design)
- What you would like (Pose, Mood, Expressions, Background etc) or just your idea!I will then reply with a Quote of the entire cost.
- If you agree to the cost and ToS then send your PayPal Address so I may link an invoiceYou then have a week to send the payment, or your commission will be cancelled.- The biggest thing is to wait, when it's your turn I will send you some sketches of Ideas, you choose one and I will begin working from the sketch you choose, and send you updates whenever major progress is made or when requested. You are welcome to ask for an update at anytime! changes can be made at your request when ever you like until the commission is finished.
Please remember I work and study- I will be open to you what's happening but I am not super human!
- If I cannot finish the art due to personal issues, then you will get a full refund
- If you want a refund before I've started working, then you will get a full refund
- If you want a refund after I've started work then you'll get a 50% refund
- You cannot get a refund once major work has gone into the piece or it's close to completionPlease Remember- I have the right to refuse any commission for any reason, including but not limited to, Rude behavior, not feeling confident drawing it or I don't feel comfortable.
- I do not do Reservations but I do Wait list, Aka meaning I will notify you next time commissions open.
- You can use your commission for personal use: personal wallpaper, ref sheet, icon, reposing on own accounts. But Please credit me.
- If you plan to use your commission for commercial use such as selling T-shirt designs, prints, please tell me beforehand so we may talk about it.
- I tend to work on one commission at a time, so please wait your turn, I go in order of the commission list and NO ONE is allowed to be placed ahead of someone who has already been waiting.
- I need a visual reference to draw from, so no text descriptions UNLESS the commission is for a design!

OsmiumDragon requested for a scene of his character, Osmium, mimicking my character, Nura.

When asked about colours - "Like a starry Nebula as it will become my moniker and my main. So white blues, blacks, purples etc."I gave three designs in return-
"Ok so I really like the mane, stripes, horns and the sparkles on the hindquarters of 1. On 2, I like the shoulder and hindquarters (feathers), the overall patterns, and the tail style. And on 3 I also like the hind feathers and the head feathers and antlers as well as the manes coloring and starry pattern and underbelly.
Things I'm not a a fan of are the whiskers and snout shape. It would be nice if it could be more wolf-like, kind of like Haku from Spirited Away.
I would also like to add a little pink into it now that I'm thinking about it"
